Erick Lopez is a hispanic actor and writer currently living in Los Angeles, CA.
He began his acting career after graduating Hebron High School in his hometown of Dallas, TX. After gaining his first professional acting credit on the popular CBS soap opera Bold and The Beautiful. He was later cast in the recurring role of Tommy on MTV's Faking It, which went on to win a Teen Choice Award for Breakout Show.
Following Faking It, his theatrical background was put on display in his Los Angeles stage debut. Being cast as the bilingual "Frankie" in Center Theatre Group's production of Kimber Lee's Different Words For The Same Thing at the Kirk Douglas Theatre allowed him to display his love for theatre while honoring his proud Mexican-American roots. It remains one of his favorite roles to date.
Erick is best known for playing Hector on CW's critically acclaimed and multi-Emmy Award winning Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
He is also recognized for his recurring roles on Call Your Mother (ABC) and Shameless (Showtime); as well as guest roles on the reboot of Magnum PI (CBS), Castle (ABC), and more.
He can currently be seen on Max as the star of 2022 Oscar Nominated Live-Action Short Please Hold, directed by K.D. Dávila.
Beyond acting, Erick devotes his time to writing scripts and dedicates time to fostering upcoming talent through teaching acting workshops for high school students in Texas.
Erick can be seen in the upcoming film "War Unfolding" scheduled for release later this year and includes Annette Bening, Laura Dern, Paul Walter Hauser, among others.
